Tag, I'm It!

I've been tagged by Stephanie, who is a great friend that I *met* a year ago. We've never met in person but we talk several times a day. She's been there for all my highs and lows. I hope Stephanie has more high points in her life than low ones. But I'm here for her through them both.

Back to the game of tag. As It, I have to write a six word memoir... a Meme. From Stephanie's blog... "The Meme originated over an idea that was prompted by the book written by Larry Smith and Rachel Fershleiser, Not Quite What I was planning: Six Word Memoirs by Writers Famous and Obscure. It's a compilation based on the story that Hemingway once bet $10 that he could sum up his life in six words.
His were- "For Sale: baby shoes, never worn."

I was married for eight years in my 20's. I got divorced, moved 1300 miles away, got a new job, met Christopher. And a few years later fell in love with him and got married. We got a late start to building a family.

A year after we got married (ok, it was only 10 months!) we started trying to conceive a little one. We did. Twice in fact, from March to August of 2007. We lost both babies. In an unexpected turn, this brought us closer and made our love stronger.

Now, I'm 19 weeks pregnant with a little one that we hope will be our first born child. I'm amazed by Christopher's strength and dedication to us, our family.

Late start, stronger love with family.

Okay, now it's my turn to tag 5 others. They in turn are supposed to continue the game by writing their own Meme and tagging five blogs each. Sorry, sweet things, you're now It:
Darreth, kekis, Katie, Just a girl in the South, and Brandy.

I love your Meme. I hope I can write a happier one soon too.

Dangit, I knew my name would be at the bottom of that post! :)

Believe it or not, I have been pondering mine for a couple of weeks now. Guess I better get it finished. Thanks for the prompt!

(And hi to baby boy!)

Wow, Tracy, how the heck am I supposed to compare with that? That very short "Meme" made me tear up... I will definitely think about this and post within the next few days. And I will add nursery pics as soon as I can. Oh, my computer is broken, so I can only update in small spurts at my parents... :-) PS congrats on your little baby BOY!
