Hi there - This is probably a very distant memory for you (thankfully), but I recently stumbled on your post about your miscarriage from a couple of years ago, and I wanted to tell you how much it helped me to read it. I knew I was miscarrying and did see my doctor about it. But nothing that she said quite prepared me for what happened. I didn't know there would be pain or contraction-like cramps, or how long it would take. I didn't even think to keep pain medication on hand. I found your post in the midst of the worst of the contractions/ cramps. I followed your lead and took a long shower and sent a friend to get me some Motrin (my husband was in a meeting and unreachable). Anyway, it's all done now, and I'm feeling relatively fine. I just wanted to thank you for sharing your experience. There's a real dearth of information on this subject, and reading your story was immensely helpful to me.
